FireVerse OS is maintained independently. If something is broken, confusing, or just not working the way you expected, we would genuinely like to hear about it.
One developer reads every message. The more specific you are, the faster this goes.

Suggest a featureAnything about what the add-on collects or transmits. Start with the Privacy Policy, then ask.
Ask a privacy questionThe short answers first. The full detail lives in the policy.
Only two features can transmit anything, and both ask your permission first. The
weather widget sends your approximate coordinates to api.open-meteo.com.
The AI panel sends what you type — and, if you use those buttons, the current
page's text or your bookmark titles and URLs — to whichever AI provider you
configured. Everything else stays on your device. Full details are in the
Privacy Policy.
Go to Add-ons and Themes → FireVerse OS → Permissions and data and switch off the data collection you do not want. That stops the relevant feature reading or sending anything immediately. You can also decline the consent prompt when it first appears — the feature simply does nothing and tells you that nothing was sent.
Yes. There is no sign-in and no first-party server to sign in to. The only optional credential is an AI provider API key, which you enter yourself in Settings → AI and which is sent only to that provider.
Because it replaces your new tab with a real dashboard. Bookmarks, history,
downloads and tabs permissions exist to render those panels. They are read locally
and never transmitted. <all_urls> is needed so the optional
reading mode and visual effects can run on whatever site you are on. The
Privacy Policy lists every permission with its reason.
Firefox blocks geolocation per-site. Reset the permission for the new tab page using the icon next to the URL bar, then click the widget again. You also need to have granted the location data collection consent — see the questions above.
The source is not published publicly. It is provided privately to Mozilla’s reviewers together with reproducible build instructions, which is how the bundled add-on is verified before it is listed. Every permission it requests is documented in the Privacy Policy.
Settings → Performance offers Ultra, High, Balanced and Battery Saver modes that adapt to your frame rate automatically. Turning off background effects and reducing the widget grid density also helps noticeably on lower-powered machines.
